HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 1994 (05) RESOULTION ACCEPTING DEVELOPMENT OF A NONPOINT SOURCE WATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT PROGRAM SOUTH FORK OF HAY RIVER RESOLUTION NO. J ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Nonpoint Source Water Pollution Abatement Program was created in 1978 to address extensive water quality threats and problems in Wisconsin's lakes, streams, and groundwater; and WHEREAS, the Nonpoint Source Program operates on a project basis where the project area is a watershed; and WHEREAS, the State Land and Water Conservation Board has offered a planning grant to St. Croix, Dunn, Barron, and Polk Counties to develop a watershed plan for the South Fork of the Hay River; and WHEREAS, program funds are provided to local governments to hire staff to develop this watershed plan; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors accepts the offer to develop a watershed plan for the South Fork of the Hay River. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Land Conservation Committee coordinate this plan with Dunn, Barron, and Polk Counties. Dated this 15th day of March, 1994.
