TO CITY OF HUDSON

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the City of Hudson has made an offer, and an amendment, to purchase
from St. Croix County the EVz of Outlot 87 and Outlots 84, 88 and 89, more commonly
known as the 1965 Courthouse and the Jail, for $400,000; $5,000 paid upon making the offer
and $395,000 payable at closing; there are no contingencies with this offer; closing on or
before December 28, 1994; the Jail is currently being used by County personnel and those
personnel may remain until such time as the County and City agree that they will vacate the
building; and
WHEREAS, the County Finance Committee recommends acceptance of this offer.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
offer, as amended, of the City of Hudson be and is hereby accepted, that the transaction be
closed pursuant to the offer, as amended, and that a deed be executed by the County Board
Chair and County Clerk and delivered to the City at closing upon fulfillment of all terms
of the transaction.
