St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Ordinance no. 24(79) prohibits certain conduct relating to St. Croix
County snowmobile trails; and
WHEREAS, the penalty for violation of the ordinance is an amount not to exceed
$50; and
WHEREAS, this amount is not consistent with forfeiture amounts for violating other
County ordinances;
THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby amends Ordinance
no. 24(79) as follows:
Section 5:
Any person who shall violate any provision of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction thereof, forfeit not more than o together with the costs
of the prosecution; and in default of payment of that sum, shall be imprisoned
in the County Jail until said forfeiture and costs are paid, but not exceeding
30 days.
