RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING
THE LETTING OF CONTRACTS FOR EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
EQUIPMENT CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, bids for the construction and installation of emergency communications
equipment (the project) have been received and reviewed according to law by the
Emergency Communications committee; and
WHEREAS, the project has been divided into four parts: 1) Towers; 2) Microwave
radio; 3) Two -way radio (includes console equipment); and 4) Mobile data terminals; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency communications committee recommends that contracts
be let as follows:

Towers UNR —Rohn $ 86,764.00
Microwave radio Motorola Inc. $ 459,998.00
Two -way radio Motorola Inc. $ 549,983.19
(includes console equipment)
Mobile data terminals Rejected by Emergency Communications Committee
THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes and
does award contracts to the above bidders at the prices shown and on the terms and
conditions of the requests for proposals for this project, provided that any contract
documents necessary for the project be agreed to by the bidders and the Emergency
Communications committee, and further provided that this Board authorize financing of the
project before contract documents are signed.
