RESOLUTION REQUESTING U.S. POSTAL SERVICE
TO PLACE A MAIL DEPOSIT BOX AT GOVERNMENT CENTER

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, outgoing mail from the Government Center is presently being delivered
to the Hudson post office by a County employee at 4:15 p.m. daily; and
WHEREAS, some departments at the Government Center cannot have mail ready
to go by 4:15 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, it is preferable to not have County staff delivering mail;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that it
requests the U.S. Postal Service to place a mail deposit box at the St. Croix County
Government Center to enable County departments more time to prepare outgoing mail and
to eliminate County staff delivery of mail to the post office;
FURTHER, be it resolved that the County Clerk send a copy of this resolution to
the Postmaster in Hudson.
