RESOLUTION NO. 42(93)
ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, St. Croix County is the responsible unit for recycling under WI Stats 159.09(15(b); and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County receives grant funds from the State of Wisconsin on an annual basis to
develop and maintain a recycling program; and
WHEREAS, each year the County distributes a portion of the grant funds received from the State to the
member municipalities of the County responsible unit to offset the cost of the local municipalities
recycling efforts; and
WHEREAS, the Waste Management Committee has taken action to recommend that these grant funds
be distributed to member municipalities as indicated in Option 112, which is attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisor does hereby
approve of the distribution of grant funds using the formula used in 1992, based on the number of
households.
