RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JURISDICTIONAL TRANSFER
OF COUNTY TRUNK HIGHWAY "T" IN TOWN
OF CADY TO THE STATE OF WISCONSIN

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, sec. 84.02(8), Wisconsin Statutes, allows the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation ( WisDOT) to make additions or deletions to the state trunk highway (STH)
system by entering into a jurisdictional transfer agreement with any local unit of
government; and
WHEREAS, the functional /jurisdictional relationships of the present STH system and
county trunk highway (CTH) system in south - central Cady Township have been reviewed
by the County and WisDOT; and
WHEREAS, the County Transportation Committee has completed an analysis and
recommends a jurisdictional transfer of CTH "T' located in Cady Township to the State of
Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, the County Transportation Committee has cooperated with the Pierce
County Highway Committee and this resolution coordinates with Pierce County Resolution
No. 93 -28 to provide a uniform highway system between the two counties.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that CTH
'T' in Cady Township, running from the intersection of STH "128" and "29" south to the
St. Croix County- Pierce County line be transferred to the State of Wisconsin to be made an
addition to the STH system;
FURTHER, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Highway Commissioner is
hereby authorized to execute on behalf of St. Croix County a jurisdictional transfer
agreement transferring CIE "T" in Cady Township to the State of Wisconsin;
FURTHER, be it resolved that the County Clerk forward 2 certified copies of this
resolution to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, District 6, 718 West Clairemont
Ave., Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
