WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors created the Government Center /Jail Planning
Committee and assigned the Committee to study space needs for County functions and
engage an architect to complete the design of a County Government Center; and
WHEREAS, those duties have been fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has approved a design and the construction
of a County Government Center; and
WHEREAS, it is expedient for the Government Center /Jail Planning Committee to
oversee the construction of the County Government Center through its completion; and
WHEREAS, to more accurately describe the Committee's new assignment it should
be renamed the Government Center/ ai' Committee;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the Government Center/ Committee is hereby assigned the responsibility
of overseeing the construction of the County Government Center through completion and
acting on behalf of St. Croix County in regard to construction contract and architect contract
matters, subject to the limitations previously established by this Board regarding
expenditures for contingencies and furnishings;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Government Center /Jail Planning
Committee is hereby renamed the Government Centergiazi4=Rttiaing Committee; and
