HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1992 (05) RESOLUTION TERMINATING INSURANCE IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY INSURANCE FUND Resolution No. J ('i) St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, St. Croix County formerly participated in the State sponsored Local Government Property Insurance Fund (the Property Fund), which insured the County's property against fire and extended coverage perils; and WHEREAS, the Property Fund could not offer inspection or consultation services relating to the insured property of the County; and WHEREAS, it is desirable during construction of the County Government Center to have insurance and inspection and consultation services provided by an insurance provider; and WHEREAS, the Wausau Insurance Company does provide inspection and consultation services in addition to insurance; and WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee chose to terminate the property insurance in the Property Fund and obtain it from the Wausau Insurance Company; WHEREAS, the Property Fund requires termination of insurance by majority vote of the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to sec. 605.21(3), Wisconsin Statutes; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the County's insurance in the Property Fund be and is hereby terminated effective November 7, 1991; Dated this j 4 day of � , 19 Offered by: Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee NEGATIVE )(d 4t> d .4 :..■ % fi'l - 0° /e/j, . , / • , • WISCONSIN COUNTY OF ST.
