GOVERNMENT PROPERTY INSURANCE FUND

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County formerly participated in the State sponsored Local
Government Property Insurance Fund (the Property Fund), which insured the County's
property against fire and extended coverage perils; and
WHEREAS, the Property Fund could not offer inspection or consultation services
relating to the insured property of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable during construction of the County Government Center
to have insurance and inspection and consultation services provided by an insurance
provider; and
WHEREAS, the Wausau Insurance Company does provide inspection and
consultation services in addition to insurance; and
WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee chose to terminate
the property insurance in the Property Fund and obtain it from the Wausau Insurance
Company;
WHEREAS, the Property Fund requires termination of insurance by majority vote
of the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to sec. 605.21(3), Wisconsin Statutes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the County's insurance in the Property Fund be and is hereby terminated effective
November 7, 1991;

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY INSURANCE FUND
INSTRUCTIONS: Pursuant to the requirements of s. 605.21(3) Wisconsin
Statutes, provide certified notice to the Local Government Property
Insurance Fund that by a majority vote, your Board or Council elected to
withdraw from the Fund. Action by the governing board must be taken within
30 days after withdrawal. Send completed notice to above address.

Dear Mr. Krizek:
We are disappointed to hear you have decided to place your Property
insurance coverage elsewhere. Contact us in the future when your
policy comes up for renewal.
Please send a copy of the consultants report showing the basis of
their recommendation to place your insurance elsewhere. We like
to know what is happening with the competition so that we can
deliver better service to our policyholders.
To withdraw from the Fund, it is necessary for your board to take
formal action as required by Chapter 605, Wisconsin Statutes. For
your convenience, we have enclosed a form to be completed and
returned to us.
