COUNTY ELECTED OFFICIALS SALARIES

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, it is desirable to study the duties and salaries of the County's elected
officials, namely the Sheriff, Clerk of Court, County Clerk, Register of Deeds and Treasurer;
and
WHEREAS, the study should utilize applicable components of the "Hay system ", a
method of job analysis of Hay Management Consultants, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and data
from comparable Wisconsin and Minnesota counties;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that an ad -hoc conunittee be created to study the positions named above and report its
findings and recommendations to the Finance, Public Protection and Personnel committees;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the committee membership shall consist of the
chairs of the Finance, Public Protection and Personnel committees, and it shall utilize the
Personnel Director as its chief staff person;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a final report and recommendations be made
to the Board in April, 1992.
