HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1992 (18) RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 1993 and 1994 SALARIES FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS Resolution No. / ( y , St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, a resolution was introduced at the Board of Supervisors April 21, 1992 meeting by the Finance Committee which set the salaries of County elected officials for 1993 and 1994, which resolution was not adopted; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Conunittee introduced a plan to set the salaries of the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, and Clerk of Court; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee plan was amended to include the County Sheriff; and WHEREAS, the plan, as amended, was adopted by the Board of Supervisors; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the salaries of the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, Clerk of Court, and County Sheriff for 1993 and 1994 are established and shall be as follows: The base salary of the County Clerk, County Treasurer, and Register of Deeds will be $29,870 (the same as their 1992 salary), the Clerk of Court will be $31,000, and the County Sheriff will be $43,213. Increase the base salary by the percentage increase for May, 1992 in the Consumer Price Index - Urban (CPI -U) for the United States, if any, published in the U.S. Department of Labor Job Service publication, "Employment Review." That result is the 1993 salary, effective the first day of the new term of office. For 1994, the 1993 salary is increased by the percentage increase, if any, in the CPI -U for the United States for May, 1993 published in "Employment Review ".
