AND COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE FACILITY IN SECTION
2.8.1, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the Town of Hudson has adopted an amendment to the Town of
Hudson Zoning Ordinance dated April 18, 1977, adding to Section 2.8.1, Industrial District,
permitted uses, a school bus garage facility serving the Hudson School District exclusively
and a County Highway Department maintenance facility, which amendment was passed and
approved by the Hudson Town Board on May 26, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes, states that in counties having a
county zoning ordinance, no town zoning ordinance or amendment of a zoning ordinance
is effective unless approved by the county board; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a county zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance and recommends its approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning
Ordinance dated April 18, 1977, adding a school bus garage facility and County Highway
Department maintenance facility as permitted uses to Section 2.8.1, Industrial District, which
amendment was passed and approved by the Hudson Town Board on May 26, 1992, be and
is hereby approved.
