(1982 AND 1974 BUILDINGS)
RESOLUTION NO. 29 (92)
(Postponed from January, 1992 for action July, 1992
and amended July 21, 1992)
Whereas, efforts by the Ad Hoc Committee to market the Human
Services and Nursing Home properties have been unsuccessful to
date; and
Whereas, efforts to sell a portion of the Health Center (1982
Building) date back to 1988, placing stress on residents, staff
and board members and negatively affecting the Nursing Home
census; and
Whereas, efforts to sell the Nursing Home reduces its image as a
reliable provider of care.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Nursing Home be taken off
the market and not offered for sale at this time.
