AGRICULTURAL HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM

ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, St. Croix, Dunn, and Pepin Counties recognize the
benefits of working cooperatively on a regional collection and
education program to control the proper disposal and storage of
potentially hazardous agricultural waste; and
WHEREAS, a Multi- County Agricultural Clean Sweep Program is
being proposed to offer education and assistance in the
identification, proper handling, storage, and disposal of
agricultural hazardous waste and a one time collection day to
properly dispose of agricultural related hazardous waste.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED that the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors authorizes the Extension Resource Agent to
submit a State Grant Application for an Agricultural Hazardous
Waste Grant Program with the intent of administering an
Agricultural Clean Sweep Program in St. Croix County in 1993.
