GRANT PREPARATION CONTRACT

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, The Wisconsin Development Fund Program enables
local governments to apply for state grant funds for business
financing to support area economic development, and
WHEREAS, The Wisconsin Development Fund assists businesses
to obtain financing that is otherwise unavailable, and
WHEREAS, Riverside Music Center of Hudson has requested that
St. Croix County apply for a Wisconsin Development Fund grant
to assist in the financing of said business, and
WHEREAS, The St. Croix County Agriculture and
Extension /Resource Committee has reviewed this proposal and
recommends that St. Croix County sponsor a Wisconsin Development
Fund grant application for Riverside Music Center, and
WHEREAS, The West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Com-
mission has the expertise and experience to prepare Wisconsin
Development Fund applications and charges $5,000 to prepare said
application.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That St. Croix County authorize
the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to pre-
pare a Wisconsin Development Fund application for Riverside Music
Center for a charge of $5,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That St. Croix County and Riverside
Music Center share the $5,000 cost in equal amounts of $2,500
each. f -
