CROIX COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT HAMMOND FACILITY SITE Resolution No. / q (__G i 2_) St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, the Village of Hammond is undertaking street improvements on Davis Street in 2012 and 2013, and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Highway Department's main shop facility fronts Davis Street; and WHEREAS, as part of this project, the Village of Hammond intends to construct storm water drainage improvement along and through the Highway Department yard area; and WHEREAS, the Highway Department will be working with the Village of Hammond to improve the Highway Department's storm water runoff as it flows into the Davis Street improvement project for the mutual benefit of both parties; and WHEREAS, the Village of Hammond typically assesses street improvements to the abutting landowners; and WHEREAS, The Village of Hammond has agreed that if St. Croix County allows the Village of Hammond to have a permanent and temporary utility easement on county property that in exchange St. Croix County will not be required to pay for the street improvements on Davis Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors authorizes the Highway Commissioner to sign the requested permanent and temporary easement documents for work through the Highway Department's Hammond site in lieu of 2012 and 2013 Davis Street improvement project street assessments.
