8 WHEREAS, pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 59.10(3)(cm)2., the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
9 enacted St. Croix County Code of Ordinance Chapter 9 - Revised Supervisory District Boundaries on
10 April 21, 2009, as the number of supervisors on the County Board was reduced from 31 to 19; and
11
12 WHEREAS, pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 59.10(3)(b), on September 6, 2011, the Board of
13 Supervisors passed Resolution No. 68 (2011) Adopting Final County Supervisory District Plan based on
14 the 2010 federal census; and
15
16 WHEREAS, when the Board of Supervisors passed Resolution No. 68 (2011) based on the 2010
17 federal census they did not amend Chapter 9 of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinance to reflect the
18 change; and
19
20 WHEREAS, the current Chapter 9 of the St. Croix Code of Ordinances should be repealed as it
21 no longer reflects the current supervisor districts; and

23 WHEREAS, the new Chapter 9 is created to show the current number of supervisory districts as
24 well as the procedure to update the supervisory districts in the future.

26 THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:

28 Chapter 9 - Revised Supervisory District Boundaries is repealed and recreated as Chapter 9 -
29 County Supervisory Districts as attached.

CHAPTER 9
COUNTY SUPERVISORY DISTRICTS
9.1 Purpose. Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute §59.10 (3) (b) and (c), the county shall, by
resolution, update its supervisory districts every ten years in conjunction with the Federal
Census or to reflect any municipal incorporation, annexation, detachment or
consolidation.
9.2 Districts. There shall be 19 supervisory districts as nearly equal in population as
practicable. Each such district shall be entitled to elect one supervisor to the county
board.
