Desian & installation considerations recommended to overcome difficult soil conditions:
1) Linear loading rate should not exceed 4.0 GPD.
2) Provide additional fill upslope of mound and contour around upper toe of mound to divert surface water

3) Add additional .25 of ASTM C-33 sand fill beneath system.
4) Extend lower downslope toe of mound to increase basal area to 2,250 sq. ft.

evaluation. This site is suitable for a mound system with a 25" sand lift. A site visit was completed by Leroy Jansky on July 18, 2005
and he agreed with the site interpretation. The site evaluation was completed uo gh the three hand dug test pits. Old furrows are
present upslope and down slope of the tested area due to former tillage. These furrows should be filled in with native material to limit
the possibility for surface water ponding.
