ORDINANCE TO ADOPT ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035
_ COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
1 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has appointed the Community Development
2 Committee as the County Planning and Zoning Agency, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §59.69
3 (2); and
4 WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §59.69(2) and (3) St. Croix County is
5 authorized to prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in Wisconsin Statutes
6 §66.1001(1)(a); and
7 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee of St. Croix County, by a majority
8 vote of the entire committee recorded in its official minutes, recommends the St. Croix County
9 Board of Supervisors adopt the document entitled ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035
10 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN containing all the elements specified in Wisconsin Statutes
11 §66.1001(2); and
12 WHEREAS, the Committee has held a public hearing on this ordinance, in compliance
13 with the requirements of Wisconsin Statutes §66.1001(4)(d).
14 THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, by enactment of this
15 ordinance, formally adopts the attached document entitled, ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035
16 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
17 FURTHER, this Ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption and publication and that
18 publication of this ordinance may occur through posting in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes
19 §985.02.
