l"earing called to order by Chairman Afdahl. Present were Su?-
ervisors Afdahl, Holmes and Luckwaldt.
Zoning Administrator, arold Barber read the request of Ran-
dall Berenschot to build an enclosed driveway from his house to
the ri7ht of way of a town road.
Mr. Berenschot feels that the structure is underground and is
a permitted use within the setback.
'Ir. Berenschot stated that if the Board request that any por-
tion of the buildin! be removed that he be permitted to have either
a 40 or 30 foot setback.

Chairman Afdahl informed IvIr. Berenschot that after inspection
of the property the Zoning Administrator will inform him of their
decision.
Zoning Administrator read request of Mr. Virgil Hang to build
an addition 10 ft. by 24 ft. to the west side of present building
along C.T.F. "'I". The building does not meet the requiref' setback
from the denterline of the road.
Fe cannot build on the rear as it is too close to t_ie well.
Neighbors have no objection to the addition.
Chairman Afdahl informed ;Jr. Wang that the Zoning Administra-
tor will inform him of their decision.
Zoning Administrator read the request of Mr. 'iallace ''?estberg.
Township of Troy to sub-divide a parcel of land along the 5t. Croix
'River. The division of the property would permit '.Ir. Iles-berg to
sell his year around home and keep the cottage as a summer resi:Lence.
The property would become a non-conforming use if division is
permitted.
Mrs. Ilestberg informed the Board that if they wanted to put
restrictions on the property they would abide by them.

Chairman Afdahl informed Mrs. Westberg that the Zoning Adnin-
istrator would notify them of their decision after inspection
of the property.
Zoning Administrator read request of Air. Iierbert Turner to
build a farm implement building on agriculture parcel east of Ilam-
mond. The Zoning Administrator first read a letter from District
Attorney on the property.
Several persons appeared before the Board in favor of the
building. Some people felt' that.-there, should be song sfireezii l.g tc
protect the homes that overlook the area and to beautify the prop-
erty. They all feel that the community needs the business and ad-
ditional tax base.
Chairman Afdahl informed the group that after inspection of
the property the Zoning Administrator will inform them of the
decision.

After inspection of the Westberg property. A motion by Luck-
waldt to deny the 1,1estberg request to subdivide their property.
The division of the property would mare a conforming lot a noncon-
forming use, not conforming to regulations set forth by the Dept.
of Ilatural Resourses and Chapter 197, Laws of Wisconsin 1973, the
Lower St. Croix River Protection Act. Seconded by Holmes. Motion
carried unanimously.
After inspection of the Berenschot property. A motion by
Holnes seconded by Luckwaldt to deny the request of Mr. Berenschot
to build closer to the town road than 100 feet from centerline.
The non-conforming structure shall be removed to 100 feet from the
centerline of the township road on or before December 15, 1974, or
legal action will be taken by the District Attorney and Zoning
Administrator to remove the structure. Motion carried unanimously.
After inspection of the Turner property. A motion by Luck-
waldt seconded by Holmes to approve Mr. Turner's request with the
following restrictions:
(1). Two rows of poplar trees (fast growing) and two rows of
evergreen trees are to be rl.ant..~d on the west property
line from the front oz the building to the rear of the
Property 1irw. Zonlmg Administrator is to inspect
property to insure that trees are planted.
(2). Keeps tha property in a clean and orderly manner.
(3). Beautify the property to assist in keeping the vaalac
of adjoining property at its highest level.
Motion carried unanimously.
After inspection of the Virgil Wang property. M--':4-on by Un mes
seconded by Luckwaldt to grant Mr. Wang perxission to bu..d a
10 ft. by 24 ft. additon to the west side of the hOma.
Motion carried unanimously.
Being no further business a motion by Luckwaldt to adjouxL.
Motion carried. Hearing adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
