Based on Nelson's report, with corrected soil
application rates, this mound should be
designed using a maximum linear loading rate of
6.0 gpd/ft, and maximum basal loading rate of
0.4 gpd/ft2.
Because of platy soil structure, chisel plowing
should be 14 to 16 inches deep to improve water
movement into and through the topsoil and
subsoil.

It is my understanding that Leroy Jansky would essentially support that there are suitable areas
for a septic system on all of the proposed lots. However, I have an email into Mr. Jansky
regarding Lot 2 of CSM "C." I needed to clarify whether an interpretive review is needed for that
site or if they can follow the normal submittal guidelines for designing a mound system. Leroy
would agree that a system could go in there, but he might be requiring that they complete a
detailed submission that he personally reviews for the design of the proposed mound system. As
far as getting on the March 13th agenda, that meeting is not intended to be for Zoning issues and
staff will not be managing two separate agendas each month. However, if Steve has the
opportunity to speak with the Chairman I will ask that they discuss this issue. Steve is at a
seminar this week and will not be back until Thursday.
In regards to CSM D & E, I would accept that the soil test issues have at least been identified and
ok for the approval of the CSM. Just be certain to complete all of the other conditions listed for
approval; I assume that you will be submitting construction bids soon to determine the amount of
the required Letter of Credit. Have a great afternoon. Talk to you later.

How are you doing this afternoon? I just wanted clarify some information for our file. On lot 2 for
the proposed CSM "C" (abuts Cty Rd N), Tom Nelson reported one baring with an A+3 condition.
Was it determined that an interpretive review would be required or was his report conserva ive
an we can assume A+4 conditions? Please let me know when you ave a c a c ve
great day.
Jon Sonnentag
0510712003 Leroy Jansky Jon Sonnentag
We verified >A+4. When I write my report I'll try to cove that one so when a mound plan is
applied for it won't be held up.
0512212003 Adam Schumaker Jon Sonnentag
He will look for the actual soil test. It appears that we never had the correct copy of lot 1 CSM C
0712412003 Adam Schumaker Jon Sonnentag
I left a message once again requesting that he produce a soil test for lot 1, because there is no
one on record even though he did visit the site with Leroy at one point.
