Soil & Site Evaluations REPORT MEMO Several soil pits were evaluated throughout the property with only one site being found that has the potential to be suitable for a mound septic system installation. The soil profile description of the adjoining report indicates that this site is suitable for a replacement mound system, but would not be suitable for a sytem to serve a new residence based on current code standards. There are two possiblities that could render this site suitable for a mound system to serve a new residence: 1) There is an anticipated code change proposed for implimentation later this summer that would allow a mound system serving a new reidence to be installed at this site. 2) Install a privy on the site and then apply for a "replacement" mound system permit. Current code allows a mound system to be located on sites like this, but there is additional expense and time required to obtain needed approvals. Again, before sanitary and buuilding permits can be obtained for a new residence on this property, one of the above 2 criteria must occur. Parcel 024-1015-10-000 04/17i2007 04:05 PAGE 1 OF 1 F 1 Alt.
