CROIX COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Meeting of May 22, 1979, called to order by Acting ChirmanSufdahl at 10:00 a.m. Present were: Supvs. Afdahl and George. Absent: Pierson. Minutes of the April meeting accepted. Hearing opend at 10:15 with Vice Chairman Afdahl acting Chairman presiding. Zoning Administrator read notice as published in the county designated newspaper. Old Business: David Albrightson-private airstrip. Mr. Albrightson presented his end aithey ning have no he obzections. talked with his neighbors about the requestP a Supervisor George informed those present that he talked with the assessor on air rights. Chairman Afdahl informed Mr. Albrightson that the Zoning Administrator would notify him of the decision. Mr. Edward Nickel, Route 1, New Richmond, a neighbor, has no objections. Questions by members of the Board. Chairman Afdahl informed Mr. Anson that the Boardofo ld inspect the property and the Zoning Administrator would Mr. Paul Casey, Town of Richmond, did not appear to present his request for a gravel pit. Chairman Afdahl postponed this hearing until June. Hearing recessed at 10:45 a.m. for inspection of property. Board members went into executive session. Board returned to open session to render decisions. Motion by Supv. George to grant the request ~of David Albrightsoded for a private airstrip on his property in the by Supv. Afdahl, motion carried.
