CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG - RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. 5:1 � Q6 WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of Marvin and Sharon Utecht on May 3, 2000 in the St. Croix Agricultural Center in Baldwin, Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the SW 1 /4 of the NW 1 /4 and the SE 1 /4 of the NW 1 /4 of Section 11, T29N, R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Beginning at the W 1 /4 Corner of said Section 11; thence S87 °01'48 "E 2631.24' along the East -West 1 /4 Section line to the C 1 /4 of Section 11 and the North -South 1 /4 Section line (bearings referenced to the West line of the NW 1 /4 of Section 11, assumed S00 °16'41 "E); thence North along the North -South 1 /4 Section line N00 °05'26 "W 510.28' to the centerline of Carr Creek; thence N54 °01'08 "W 183.09' along said centerline; thence N74 °04'48 "W 115.05' along said centerline; thence N66 °40'45 "W 208.28' along said centerline; thence N51 °19'03 "W 181.50' along said centerline; thence N53 °38'46 "W 99.72' along said centerline; thence N63 °09'24 "W 194.47' along said centerline; thence N48 °04'41 "W 207.23' along said centerline; thence N33 °35'41 "W 294.44' along said centerline to the North line of the S 1 /2 of the NW 1 /4 of said Section 11; thence N87 °10'10 "W along said North line of the S 1 /2 of the NW 1/4 1467.60' to the West line of the NW 1 /4 of said Section 11; thence S00 °16'41 "E 1312.08' along said West line of the NW 1 /4 to the point of beginning, containing 2,887,340 square feet (66.28 acres) more or less and being subject to any easements, restrictions and covenants of record. Based on the following findings: 1) The Town of Baldwin has recommended approval of the rezoning request; 2) The parcel proposed to be rezoned is unsuitable for farming; 3) Existing Ag /Residential and AG -II land is located adjacent to the parcel; 4) The Town and County have certified that the provisions of §91.77 have been met; THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.- Residential.
