CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICU URE \TO AG -TWO ORDINANCE NO. 554 . aDo O l WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of ROBERT HARER AND SANDRA HOOGENAKKER on July 26, 2000 at the St. Croix County Agriculture Center in Baldwin, Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the NW 1 /4 of the NW ' and in part of the SW ' of the NW ' of Section 10, T29N, R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin; described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of said section 10; thence S87 °40'56 "E, along the North line of the NW % of Section 10, 1317.88 feet to the east line of the NW '/ of the NW %; thence S00 °50'25 "E along said east line, 1328.22 feet; thence N87 °37'27 "W, 1311.17 feet to the West line of said NW %; thence N01 °07'57 "W, along said west line, 1327.28 feet to the point of beginning. Above described parcel contains 40.000 Acres (1,742,402 sq. ft.). Based on the following findings: 1) The County Planning Department recommended approval as the rezoning request is located in the rural planning area and is an appropriate use and the rezoning conforms to the County Development Management Plan. 2) The majority of the parcel is wooded. 3) The Agriculture II district allows one home per 20 acres, this site is suitable for 2 homes. 4) The request meets all county zoning ordinance requirements. 5) The provisions of § 91.77 have been met with this rezoning request. 6) The Town of Baldwin has recommended approval, and also found among other things that the request is consistent with § 91.77. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag -Two. Dated this /5. day of O , 2000. ST.
