HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2000 (557) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE AND INDVSTRI L TO AG /RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. S57 ( cDoob WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of GALEN AND MILDREN ANDERSON on June 21, 2000 at the St. Croix County Agriculture Center in Baldwin; Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the Northeast % of the Northeast '/ of Section 32, T29N, R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 32; thence West (assumed bearing along the North line of the Northeast '/4 of said Section 32), 985.81'; thence S02 °38'09 "E, 655.29'; thence East, 446.98'; thence S01 °07'00" E approximately 662' to a point on the South line of said Northeast '/4 of the Northeast '/4 ; thence Easterly along said South line approximately 541' to the Southeast corner of said Northeast '/4 of the Northeast '/4; thenceN01 °59'26 "W, 1317.05' on the East line of said Northeast '/4 to the Point of Beginning, EXCEPTING therefrom the South 313.00' of the East 348.00' of said Northeast '/4 of the Northeast '/4, said parcel contains approximately 20.4 acres and is subject to easements for Town Road purposes over Northerly and Easterly portions of this parcel and to any other easements, covenants or restrictions of record. Based on the following findings: 1) The County Planning Department recommends approval and the request meets the County Development Management Plan. 2) The request meets all county zoning ordinance requirements. 3) The provisions of § 91.77 have been met with this rezoning request. 4) The Town of Baldwin has recommended approval, and also found among other things that the request is consistent with § 91.77. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture and Industrial to Ag- Residential.
