CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TQ AG TWO ORDINANCE NO. 5L 3 63266 ) WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of STEVE MEYER on October 18, 2000 at the St. Croix County Agriculture Center in Baldwin, Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the NE'/ of the NE 1 /4 and part of the NW'/ of the NE' , all in Section 10, T29N, R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin; described as follows: Beginning at the N Corner of Section 10; thence S87 °49'55 "E, along the north line of the NE '/ of said Section 10, 2655.61 feet to the east line of the NE %; thence S00 38'55 "E, along said east line, 1312.07 feet to the south line of the N 1/2 of said NE 1 /4; thence N87 °41'54 "W, along said south line, 1997.39 feet to the east line of a parcel of land recorded in Volume 1122, Page 524 at the St. Croix County Register of Deeds office; thence N00 °32'53 "W, along said east line, 462.57 feet to the north line of said Parcel; thence N87 °41'54"W, along said north line, 660.82 feet to the north -south 1/4 line; thence N00 °32'53 "W, along said north -south '/ line, 843.18 feet to the point of beginning. Described parcel contains 72.73 acres (3,168,095 Sq. Ft.) and is subject to town roads (245 Street, 110 Avenue and 250 Street) right -of -way. Based on the following findings: 1) The Town of Baldwin supports the rezoning. 2) Rezoning of the parcel would have no adverse effect on surrounding lands. 3) The Town and County have certified that the provisions of § 91.77 have been met. 4) The Ag -II rezoning does not conflict with the County Land Use Plan. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag -Two.
