ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
AGRICULTURE TO AG.-RESIDE TTIAL
ORDINANCE NO. 3`3
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee reviews
petitions, holds public hearings, and presents its recommendations for rezoning requests to the
County Board for action; and
WHEREAS, the Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of BARBARA
WEBER on August 18, 1999 in the St. Croix County Government Center in Hudson, Wisconsin;
and
WHEREAS, the Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony
presented at the hearing, and finding that the request does not meet the requirements of the
Town of Troy Growth Management Plan, as further stated in a memorandum labeled "Exhibit 1"
attached to this Resolution, voted to deny,a rezoning request; and
WHEREAS, the Committee presented its decision and findings to the County Board on
November 16, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Corporation Counsel presented findings that the
rezonement did not conflict with the Town of Troy Growth Management Plan. Such findings are
stated in a memo labeled "Exhibit 2 ", attached to this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the motion to deny the rezoning request failed and, based on Corporation
Counsel findings, the Board directed the Committee to draft an ordinance effectuating the
petition and report the ordinance back to the County Board, which may then adopt the proposed
ordinance.
THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the following describe parcel is rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.-
Residential:
A parcel of land located in the NE 1 /4 of the SE %, the SW 1 /4 of the SE 1 /4 and the SE 1 /4
of the SE 1 /4, all in Section 19, T28N -R19W, Town of Troy, St. Croix County,
Wisconsin. Containing 120 acres.
