CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG. -RESID NTIAL ORDINANCE NO. 5 e' /- (VF) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of VERNON A. VANDENBERG on January 27, 1999 in the Rush River Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: Part of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S % of NW 'A) of Section Twelve (12), Township Twenty -eight North (T28N), Range Seventeen West (R17W), described as follows: Commencing at the southwest comer of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of said Section 12; thence East along the south line of said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to the southeast comer of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of said Northwest Quarter (W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4); thence north along the east line of said West Half of Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter (W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4) a distance of 1320 feet, more or less, to the northeast comer of said West Half of Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter (W1/2 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4); thence East along the north line of said West Half of Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter (W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4) a distance of 660 feet, more less of the northwest corner of said West Half of Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter (W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4); thence South along the Section line a distance of 1320 feet, more or Tess, to the point of beginning. EXCEPT commencing at the NE corner of the West 20 acres of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S1/2 of the NW 1/4) of Section Twelve (12), Township Twenty -eight North (T28N), Range Seventeen West (R17W), thence West 2 rods, thence South 2 rods, thence East 2 rods, thence North 2 rods to the Place of Beginning, as described in Volume 1186 of Records, Page 281, Office of the Register of Deeds for St. Croix County, Wisconsin. From Agriculture to Ag /Residential. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag /Residential.
