ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
AGRICULTURE TO AG. -RES,ID NTIAL
ORDINANCE NO. 5/1 (F)
WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development
Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning
and Parks Committee; and
WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold
public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for
action; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public
hearing on the rezoning request of GARLEND FREGINE on March 31, 1999 in the Baldwin Town
Hall; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having
considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that
the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the
following described land:
A parcel of land located in the NW 1 /4 of the NW '/ and in the NE 1 /4 of the NW 1 /4 of
Section 23, T28N, R16W, Town of Eau Galle, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, more fully
described as follows:
Commencing at the W '/ corner of said Section 23: Thence S88 °18'43 "E along the East-
West Quarter Section Line 451.47' to a point on the easterly line of the former railroad
right -of -way; Thence N22 °11'08 "E along said right -of -way 1531.90'; Thence northeasterly
along said right -of -way, also being the arc of a 4120.00' radius curve concave westerly
whose long chord bears N20 °43'34 "E 209.87' to the POINT OF BEGINNING:
Thence continuing along said right -of -way line, also being the arc of a 4120.00' radius
curve concave westerly whose long chord bears N12 °31'08 "E 968.19'; Thence
N90 °00'00 "E 431.19'; Thence S11 °01'03 "W 1115.29'; Thence N70 °44'00 "W 453.30' to the
point of beginning. Contains 10.00 acres (435,507 sq. ft).
From Agriculture to Ag. /Residential.
THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting
in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.- Residential.
