HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1998 (488) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST.. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO COMMERCIAL ORDINANCE NO. '- f - 16 ( 7 ) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of WALTER W. NELSON on September 2, 1998 at the Rush River Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A part of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 28 North, Range 17 West, Town of Rush River, St. Croix County, Wisconsin Tying south of Federal Interstate Highway Number 94, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Section 1; thence, along the south line of said Section 1, WEST a distance of 1320 feet, more or less, to the southwest comer of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 1; thence, along the west line of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 1, NORTH a distance of 1200 feet, more or less to the southerly right -of -way of said Highway Number 94; thence Southeasterly, along said southerly right -of -way on a bearing recorded as South 70 degrees 39 minutes East on the said Highway Number 94 Plat, a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to an angle point in said right -of -way; thence, along said right -of -way, Southeasterly a distance of 1400 feet, more or less, to the east line of said Section 1; thence, along the east line of said Section 1, SOUTHERLY, to the point of beginning. Containing about 22 acres. Subject to or excepting State Highway Number 63 along the most easterly line of the above described property; also subject to 50th Avenue (a Town Road) along the most southerly line of the above described property. Also subject to all easements, restrictions and covenants of record. From Agriculture to Commercial. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel Is now rezoned from Agriculture to Commercial. Dated this day of , 1998. ST.
