HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1998 (456) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG. TW ORDINANCE NO. 4 (4 WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of MALCOLM AND BARBARA NIELSEN on January 7, 1998 in the Pleasant Valley Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: That certain parcel of land located in the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township 28 North, Range 17 West, Town of Rush River, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows: Commencing at the South quarter corner of said Section 27, thence, along the North -South quarter section line of said Section 27, N 00 649.50' to the Point of Beginning of the parcel to be herein described; thence continuing along said quarter section line, N 00 ° 18'21" W, 667.90' to the Northwest corner of said Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4; thence, along the North line of. -said Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, N 89 ° 29'00" E, 1305.96' to the 'Northeast corner of said Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4; thence, along the East line of said Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, S 00 ° 03'09" E, 667.92'; thence S 89 °29'00" W, 1303.00' to the Point of Beginning, containing 20.001 acres or 871,257 sq. ft., being subject to easement for town road purposes over the Westerly 33.00' and also being subject to easements of record. For the purposes of this description, the North -South quarter line of Section 27 is assumed to bear N 00 From Agriculture to Ag. Two THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag. Two. Dated this 0 day of , 1998. ST.
