ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17
ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
AG -2 TO AG.- RESIDENTIAL
ORDINANCE NO. 1 4- (7
WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development
Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning,
Zoning and Parks Committee; and
WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold
public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board
for action; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public
hearing on the rezoning request of GARY L. AND NANCY J. COOK on December 17, 1997
in the Stanton Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having
considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, voted to
approve a rezoning of the following described land:
A parcel of land in the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter in Section 32,
Township 31 North, Range 17 West, Town of Stanton, St. Croix County,
Wisconsin described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Section 32; thence, on an assumed
bearing along the north line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 32, South
89 degrees 55 minutes 14 seconds East a distance of 343.22 feet, this being the
northeast corner of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey map (Document Number 536872)
recorded in Volume 11 page 3020 of said Maps in said County; thence, along the
east line of said Lot 1, South 00 degrees 33 minutes 34 seconds East a distance
of 330.00 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be described, this being
the southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence, on the extension easterly of the south
line of said Lot 1, North 89 degrees 55 minutes 14 seconds East a distance of
314.85 feet; thence South 11 degrees 53 minutes 52 seconds West a distance of
297.96 feet; thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 14 seconds West a distance of
250.57 feet; thence North 00 degrees 33 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of
291.67 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 1.89 acres.
From Ag -2 to Ag. /Residential.
THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Ag -2 to Ag.- Residential.

AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 459(98)
February 6, 1998
This document corrects Ordinance No. 459(98) adopted by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors on January 20, 1998.
Records in the file relating to the rezoning indicate that the legal description
contained in Ordinance No. 459(98) was incorrect.
The correct legal description is as follows:
(corrections are in bold print)
A parcel of land located in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 4, Township 31 North, Range 18 West, Town of Star
Prairie, St. Croix County , Wisconsin described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of of said Section 4; thence,
along the west line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 4, NORTH
a distance of 270.00 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be
described; thence, continuing along said west line, NORTH a distance
of 120.50 feet; thence, on a line parallel with the south line of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section 4, EAST a distance of 1320.00 feet,
more or Tess, to the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section 4; thence along last said east line,
SOUTH a distance of 120.50 feet; thence, on a line parallel with the
south line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 4, WEST a distance
of 1320.00 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Containing
3.7 acres, more or Tess. Subject to 100th Street, a Town Road, along
the west line of the above described parcel. Also subject to all
easements, restrictions and covenants of record.
