HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1998 (468) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AG /RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL ORDINANCE NO. 'f g (Qg) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of DOUG AND LYNN WAKEFIELD on April 15, 1998 at the Roberts/Warren Fire Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter and the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 21, Township 29 North, Range 18 West, Town of Warren, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the North quarter comer of Section 21; thence South 88 degrees 57 minutes 57 seconds East 1967.55 feet along the North line of the Northeast quarter of Section 21 to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 88 degrees 57 minutes 57 seconds East 445.55 feet along said North line; thence South 44 degrees 53 minutes 36 seconds East 287.47 feet to the Westerly right - of -way line of State Highway 65; thence South 00 degrees 01 minute 01 second East 1134.82 feet along said right -of -way line; thence South 89 degrees 37 minutes 24 seconds West 646.99 feet; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 25 seconds West 1350.77 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 849,361 square feed (19.499 acres) more or less, and being subject to all easements, restrictions and covenants of record. From Ag /Residential to Commercial. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Ag /Residential to Commercial.
