HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1998 (472) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG /RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. 'S (? c K') WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act In all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of ROBERT AND SHARON AUSTRUM on May 6, 1998 in the Pleasant Valley Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 28 North, Range 17 West, Town of Pleasant Valley, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the East Quarter comer of said Section 33; thence, on an assumed hearing along the east/west Quarter line of said Section 33, South 89 degrees 58 minutes 37 seconds West a distance of 611.52 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be described; thence South 00 degrees 01 minutes 23 seconds East a distance of 271.86 feet; thence South 61 degrees 46 minutes 58 seconds West a distance of 636.50 feet; thence North 00 degrees 01 minutes 23 seconds West a distance of 554.57 feet to said east/west Quarter line; thence, along said quarter line, North 89 degrees 58 minutes 37 seconds East a distance of 527.38 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 217,922 square feet (5.00 acres). Subject to County Trunk Highway "M" along the north line of the above described property, also subject to all easements, restrictions and covenants of record. From Agriculture to Ag /Residential THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag /Residential.
