ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
AGRICULTURE TO AG. -RESID N IAL
ORDINANCE NO. 4q 4
WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development
Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning,
Zoning and Parks Committee; and
WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold
public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for
action; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public
hearing on the rezoning request of NEIL KRUMM on November 4, 1998 in the Stanton Town
Hall; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having
considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that
the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the
following described land:
A parcel of land located in part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 25, Township 31 North, Range 17 West, Town of Stanton, St.
Croix County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Comer of said Section 25; thence, on an assumed
bearing along the west line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 25, North 02
degrees 12 minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 720.34 feet to the point of
beginning of the parcel to be described; thence, continuing along last said west
line, North 02 degrees 12 minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 305.67 feet to
the southwest comer of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 2 page 362
of said Maps in said County; thence, along the south line of last said Map, North
89 degrees 25 minutes 01 seconds East a distance of 390.16 feet; thence South
02 degrees 12 minutes 59 seconds East a distance of 210.66 feet; thence North
87 degrees 27 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 699.62 feet; thence South
02 degrees 12 minutes 59 seconds East a distance of 706.49 feet to the northerly
right -of -way of State Highway Number 64; thence, continuing along said northerly
right -of -way, South 87 degrees 09 minutes 48 seconds West a distance of 699.65
feet; thence North 02 degrees 12 minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 614.98
feet; thence South 89 degrees 25 minutes 01 seconds West a distance of 390.16
feet to the point of beginning. Containing 614,702 square feet (14.11 acres).
Subject to right -of -way for 190th Street (a Town Road) along the most westerly
line of the above described property, also subject to all easements, restrictions
and covenants of record.
From Agriculture to Ag. /Residential.
THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.- Residential.
