HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1997 (452) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY'LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG.- RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. L I - 5' (/ `7) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of EUGENE AND SANDRA VEENENDALL on December 3, 1997 in the Baldwin Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the part of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 5, T29N, R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin; described as follows: Commencing at the N 1/4 corner of said Section 5; thence S02 ° 43'47 "E, along the north - south 1/4 line of said section, 83.08 feet to the south line of a parcel recorded and described in Volume 149, Page 463 at the St. Croix County Register of Deeds office, and the point of beginning; thence continuing S02 ° 43'47 "E, along said north - south 1/4 line, 1191.63 feet; thence S89 ° 55'59 "E, along the south line of said NW1 /4 of the NE1 /4, 811.69 feet; thence NO2 ° 43'47 "W, 1196.17 feet to the south line of said parcel in Volume 149, Page 463; thence S89 °44'47 "W, along said south line, 811.48 feet to the point of beginning. Above described parcel contains 22.221 acres or 967,924 Sq. Ft. and is subject to all easements, restrictions and covenants of record. From Agriculture to Ag. /Residential. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.- Residential.
