ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO COMMERCIAL ORDINANCE NO. / Cj'7) • WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. • Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of CENEX/ LDL AGRONOMY COMPANY on September 22, 1997 in the First American Bank Building in Deer Park; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 31 North, Range 16 West, Town of Cylon, St. Croix County, Wisconsin; described as follows: Commencing at the West Quarter corner of said Section 32; • thence, along the west line of said Southwest Quarter, S00 ° 00'00 "W a distance of 595.85 feet to the south line of the Wisconsin Central Railroad; thence S87 ° 12'50 "E, along said south line, 1318.08 feet to the west line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing S87 ° 12'50 "W, along said south line, 125.26 feet to a point that is N87 ° 12'50 "W 1060.00 feet from the intersection of the westerly right -of -way of the town road and said south line of the railroad, said intersection being 55.84 feet westerly, as measured along said south line of the railroad from the centerline of said town road; thence S00 ° 07'13 "W, parallel to the east line of the Southwest Quarter, 1996.33 feet to the south line of the Southwest Quarter; thence N89 ° 06'59 "W, along said south line, 123.03 feet to the east line of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter; thence N00 ° 03'36 "E, along said east line, 2000.52 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 5.692 Acres. Subject to right -of -way for County Trunk Highway "S" and subject to all other easements, restrictions and covenants of record. From Agriculture to Commercial. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Commercial.
