HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1997 (436) ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG.- RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. (;77) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of JOHN AND JODY O'GRADY on July 23, 1997 in the Troy Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: That certain parcel of land located in the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 34, Township 28 North, Range 18 West, Town of Troy, St. Croix County, Wisconisn, more fully described as follows; Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of said Section 34, thence S 88 ° 40'58 "E (assumed bearing on the East /West 1/4 line of said Section 34) a distance of 1321.62', to the POINT OF BEGINNING, of the parcel to be herein described; thence 'continue S 88 ° 40'58 "E 735.57' on said line; thence 302 ° 06'38 "W 899.72'; thence N62 ° 57'32 "W 466.38' on the r:enterline of a town road; thence continue on said f:enterline N 59 ° 14'05 "W 357.01'; thence N 02 ° 11'19 "E E21.75' on the West line of the Northeast 1/4 of Southwest 1/4 of said Section 34, to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 12.132 acres or 528,467 sq. ft being subject to easement for town road purposes over those areas as shown on Certified Survey map and also being subject to easements of record. From Agriculture to Ag. /Residential. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervr; ors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.
