CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG.- RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. $ 17L C' 7) WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of TOM AND MELODY KANTEN on December 3, 1997 in the Baldwin Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: The Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) excepting: commencing 464 feet East of SW corner of said Quarter, thence East to East line of said Quarter; thence North 377 feet, more or less; thence West to a point North 4 degrees East of point of beginning, thence South 4 degrees West to point of beginning; all in Section Five (5), Township 29 North, Range 16 West. Approximately 32.580 acres. ALSO The Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) excepting: commencing at the SW corner of said Quarter, thence East 299.4 feet; thence North 4 degrees East 377 feet; thence West of West line of the SE 1/4 of NE 1/4; thence South on West line to point of beginning; all in Section Five (5), Township 29 North, Range 16 West. Approximately 37.400 acres. Located in the Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. From Agriculture to Ag. /Residential. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag.- Residential.
