GENERAL FUND TO THE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS CENTER
BUDGET FOR ENHANCED 9 -1 -1 SYSTEM

WHEREAS, on June 29, 1988 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approved
the establishment of an Enhanced 9 -1 -1 system and user fees; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $53,980 was budgeted for 1989 to the Emergency
Communications Center for implementation of an Enhanced 9 -1 -1 system; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $53,980 could not be expended until 1991; and
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1989 the User Board approved establishment of an
Enhanced 9 -1 -1 account; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 1989 the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond
Committee approved the establishment of an Enhanced 9 -1 -1 account; and
WHEREAS, that account was not established and the amount of $53,980 lapsed back
into the general fund at the end of 1989; and
WHEREAS, the present User Board and Finance, Budget, Building and Bond
Committee recommend establishment of the Enhanced 9 -1 -1 system; and
WHEREAS, it is further recommended by the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond
Committee that a transfer from the general fund to the Emergency Communications Center
budget in an amount not to exceed $75,000 be authorized to be made by the Finance,
Budget, Building and Bond Committee in 1991 for the cost of implementing the Enhanced
9 -1 -1 system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors meeting in regular session, that the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond
Committee be and is hereby authorized to transfer an amount not to exceed $75,000 from
the general fund to the Emergency Communications Center budget for the implementation
of an Enhanced 9 -1 -1 system in 1991.
