AUTHORIZING PROCEEDING WITH CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PHASE AND
BIDDING PHASE

WHEREAS, the design stage of the St. Croix County Government Center project,
which was authorized by Resolution No. 21(90) on August 14, 1990, has been completed by
the architect, Government Center /Jail Planning Committee and staff; and
WHEREAS, the design has been presented to the Board of Supervisors;.and
WHEREAS, the Government Center /Jail Planning Committee recommends approval
of the design; and
WHEREAS, the next phases of the Government Center project are the construction
documents phase and the bidding phase; and
WHEREAS, an amount has been budgeted to complete the construction documents
phase and the bidding phase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors that the Government Center project design presented to the Board of
Supervisors on May 14, 1991 is hereby approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
hereby authorize the Government Center /Jail Planning Committee and the architect to
commence and complete the construction documents phase and the bidding phase of the
Government Center project;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction documents, and the bid and
negotiated contract from the lowest responsible bidder, be presented to the Board of
Supervisors for action at the first meeting of the Board of Supervisors after the construction
documents, bid and negotiated contract are completed.
