REAL ESTATE LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE
RESOLUTION NO. 3 o (9 l)
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County owns 2 parcels of real estate in the northeast quarter
of the northwest quarter of section 14, Town of Star Prairie, the legal descriptions and map
of which are attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the finance, Budget, Building and Bond committee recommended that
the parcels be sold; and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase the parcels for $6,000 has been received by an
adjoining property owner, Leon Orr, P.O. Box 230, Farmington, Minnesota 55024; and
WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee recommends that
Mr. Orr's offer be accepted;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the parcels described in the attachment be sold to Leon Orr for $6,000;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a deed be executed for the parcels to Leon Orr
by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk and, upon payment in
full, delivered to Mr. Orr.

Commencing at a half inch iron rod driven in the highway on the east line of the North Half
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, which point is 846.12 feet North of the Southeast
corner of said eighty; thence West 66 feet, to an iron rod and a wooden stake; thence South
59 degrees West 158.4 feet, to an iron rod and wooden stake; thence South 28 degrees 15
minutes West 151.8 feet, to an iron rod and wooden stake; thence South 59 degrees West
66 feet, to an iron rod and wooden stake; thence South 47 degrees 30 minutes West 257.4
feet, to a 3/4 inch twisted steel rod; thence South 84 degrees 30 minutes West 231 feet;
thence South 38 degrees 30 minutes West, 165 feet, to an iron rod and a stake; thence South
6 degrees West 148.5 feet, to an iron rod and a stake; thence South 59 degrees West, to the
South line of said eighty; thence West along said South line 231 feet; thence due North
749.1 feet, to an iron rod and a stake; thence North 72 degrees East 349.8 feet, to an iron
rod and a stake; thence due East 165 feet, to an iron rod and a stake; thence North 47
degrees and 30 minutes East, to the North line of said eighty; thence East to Northeast
corner of said eighty; thence South to place of beginning.
A parcel of land located in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 14- 31 -18, described as
follows: Commencing at the N 1/4 corner of said Section 14; thence S 0`01'08" E (assumed
bearing referenced to the monumented N - S 1/4 Section line of said Section 14, bearing
assumed S 0`01'08" E) 462.20 feet along said 1/4 Section line to an existing 1" iron pipe and
the POINT OF BEGINNING: thence S 89'58'52" W (recorded as WEST) 66.0 feet along
the Southeasterly line of that parcel recorded in Volume 345, page 111, to an existing 1"
iron pipe; thence S 58 W, (recorded as S 59°W) 158.40 feet along said Southeasterly
line to an existing 1" iron pipe; thence S 28 W (recorded as S 28 W) 151.80 feet
along said Southeasterly line to an existing 1" iron pipe; thence N 51 ° 47'02" E 348.17 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 13,252 square feet (0.3042 acres), more or less,

RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 14(88) 1 0 ., - , , '

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14(88) the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
authorized the sale of the County owned nursing home; and
WHEREAS, such sale was authorized due to the increasing expense of operating said
nursing home to St. Croix County taxpayers in 1988; and
WHEREAS, in 1991 a combination of increased State aid, increased census and
improved efficiency of operating have contributed to controlling the impact on the property
tax in St. Croix County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors that Resolution 14(88) be and is hereby rescinded.
