OF THE ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has received bids for the construction of a government
center pursuant to the plans and specifications prepared by Ayres & Associates, Eau Claire,
Wisconsin, architects for the County; and
WHEREAS, the bids were opened at the St. Croix County Courthouse on October
29, 1991 at 7:00 o'clock p.m. by the Government Center /Jail Planning Committee; and
WHEREAS, the bids were analyzed by Ayres and Associates and discussed with the
Committee at the Courthouse on November 5, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Committee determined that Stahl Construction Company,
Minnetonka, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder under the following criteria:
Base Bid $10,790,000.00
Deduct:
Alternate Bid No. 1 - Omit Asphalt
Paving and Markings (115,000.00)
Add:
Alternate Bid No. 4 - Parabolic
Louver Fluorescent Lighting 25,000.00
TOTAL $10,700,000.00
WHEREAS, the Committee recommends acceptance of the Stahl Construction
Company bid under the criteria set forth above;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors that Stahl Construction Company, Minnetonka, Minnesota, is found to be the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a government center for St. Croix County
under the criteria set forth above; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Stahl Construction Company of
$10,700,000.00 for the construction of a government center pursuant to the plans and
specifications of the Architect and the criteria set forth above is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all agreements necessary to initiate the
construction project be prepared and that the Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors
and the County Clerk execute said documents.
