FUTURE ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER FACILITIES
Resolution # 3 (9)
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
recognizes the rapid population and economic growth throughout
St. Croix County; and
WHEREAS, this growth has caused rapid and extensive
expansion of county services and personnel during the past 10
years; and
WHEREAS, projections of growth and space needs beyond ten
year increments is uncertain, given current growth rates; and
WHEREAS, in 1985 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
purchased 99 acres of land commonly referred to as the "Boody
Property" for future facilities; and
WHEREAS, the 99 acre site was purchased to supply all growth
needs for the next 100 years.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, does hereby
resolve that no portion of the 99 acres be sold until such time
as the Board of Supervisors deems it unnecessary for future
building programs or impractical for such use.
