FROM COUNTY NURSING HOME TO HUMAN SERVICES

WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Human Services /Nursing Home telephone system is
obsolete and inadequate to handle the department's needs, and
WHEREAS, with the addition of 70 County employees to the vacant space in the
Health Center this past year, and
WHEREAS, service provided by these programs are frequently emergent in nature,
with initial contacts usually occurring by telephone, and
WHEREAS, both the Human Services Board and Finance Committee have reviewed this
situation including financial issues, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV D, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
authorize the transfer of $56 915-9.$..from the Nursing Home to Human Services to
purchase a new telephone system from the St. Croix Telephone Company (total
cost of $7 07180, including cost of $1-3- 6# to the Nursing Home) .
