FEES FOR SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL
RESOLUTION NO.
ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, the Waste Management Committee approved an increase in the fee
charged to waste haulers for disposing of solid waste at the St. Croix Waste -to- Energy
Facility from $20 per ton to $35 per ton for waste generated within the County and from
$38 per ton to $40 per ton for waste generated outside the County; and
WHEREAS, the Finance, Building and Bond Committee recommends that the fee
be $40 per ton for waste generated within the County and $45 per ton for waste generated
outside the County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session,qhat the Waste Management Committee be and is
hereby directed to establish a fee of $40 per ton for waste generated within the County and
$45 per ton for waste generated outside the County which is disposed of at the St. Croix
Waste -to- Energy Facility.
