RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING ST. CROIX CENTRAL PANTHERS
Resolution # S'(g1)
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors should
recognize the proud wrestling tradition that has existed in St.
Croix County for years and continues to exist in 1989; and
WHEREAS, on February 25, 1989 the St. Croix Central Panther
Wrestlers won the Class C State Wrestling Tournament in Madison,
Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, by winning this Wrestling Championship, the St.
Croix Central School District has earned the respect and
admiration of persons throughout the State of Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors for St. Croix
County, wherein the St. Croix Central School District is located,
greatly appreciates the athletic achievement accomplished by
Coach Lindy Johnson and the St. Croix Central Panther Wrestlers;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the County Board
of Supervisors from St. Croix County wholeheartedly congratulates
Coach Johnson, the St. Croix Central Panthers, and the entire
community and school district in winning the Class C State
Wrestling Tournament for the State of Wisconsin on February 25,
1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
Resolution be sent by the County Clerk for St. Croix County to
the St. Croix Central School Superintendent and Coach Johnson.
