WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes Section 814.615 provides for
fees for mediation and studies for family court counselling
services; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section
814.615(1)(b), the County shall determine when and how to collect
these fees; and
WHEREAS, a family mediation fee schedule has been proposed
as Attachment A to this Resolution, which fee schedule takes into
account the parties' ability to pay; and
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, Director of State
Courts has indicated that such mediation services be established
no later than June 1, 1989;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the family
mediation fee schedule shown on Attachment A, is hereby
established, effective no later than June 1, 1989.

Annual Income is rounded to the nearest 1,000. When income is at
a uneven number, the fee will be calculated at the uneven number.
Fee is to be paid at the end of each session.
Fee is based on total income for wife and husband.
When wife does not have income, husband shall pay total fee.
When husband does not have income, wife shall pay total fee.
When both do not have income, the fee of $2.00 per session shall
be paid.
When disputes develop over payment of the appropriate fee, the
parties shall petition to the Circuit Court where a Judgment
shall be awarded.
The first session (screening) shall be at no cost to the parties.
