WHEREAS, with the construction of the incinerator by
American Resource Recovery on the Health Center premises, the
County has agreed to construct the roadway from CTH "K" to the
entrance of the incinerator property so as to accommodate heavy
truck travel; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of St. Croix
County to take over such roadway as a County Trunk Highway; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes Section 83.025(1)(a) permits
County Boards to make additions to county trunk systems with the
consent of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the description of the centerline of the roadway
proposed to be added to the County system is as follows:
Beginning at the West 1/4 corner of Section 35,
T31N -R18W, Town of Star Prairie, St. Croix County,
Wisconsin, thence North on the West line of said
Section 35, a distance of 868 feet.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the roadway
mentioned above is hereby added to the County Trunk system,
effection upon the written consent of the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above mentioned roadway
shall become known as CTH "KK" for the entire distance being
added to the County Trunk system.
